Washington Elder Care is a private non-profit organization that is currently developing a Day Health program to service seniors with dementia.
Centrally located in Federal Way, the Day Health program will deliver services that maximize independent living for seniors and their families in South King and North Pierce counties.
Other programs of Washington Elder Care are: Senior Advocacy, Community Education, and a Home Medical Equipment Thrift Store.
The volunteers at Washington Elder Care include a Registered Nurse, a Masters level Social Worker, and an Elder Law attorney.
Our board of directors is made up of citizens from professional disciplines that complement our goal of enhancing the quality of life for seniors and their families.
In an effort to keep daily rates affordable and offer assistance to families with limited financial resources, we are operating a thrift store that specializes in Home Medical Equipment. It is our hope that you will support Washington Elder Care programs by: donating surplus Home Medical Equipment that you have in storage at your facility, referring families to donate Home Medical Equipment that is no longer needed, and referring families and clients that need Home Medical Equipment to our store.
All donations are tax deductible* and proceeds from sales go to fund Washington Elder Care programs.
